How was the Base yesterday? Do you ever see these investigators any other time? Base was interesting, no one new came to my lesson so I re-taught the restoration to 2 soldiers who are getting baptized this week :} and no we don’t see these investigators other than Sunday, so the ward missionaries (soldiers who are called to be ward missionaries) do a lot of work during the week :}
do you get to see the other ward at all? (and how is Sis Malcom doing in her pregnancy?) I only miss about 40-45 mins of our ward so its not too bad. And she is doing ok. She was in the ER a few days ago but has been doing better. We went and Heart-Attacked her door so that was fun :}
How are you and your new comp getting along? Have you taught each other new things to make you all better missionaries? She is awesome. We have been getting along really well and we teach really well together as well. She has taught me a lot about a positive attitude. I thought I was positive but she beats me in that category. She has also taught me how to keep our house organized and clean :}
What did you study and learn this week in personal study that sounded new to you? D&C 123:16-17. I read that and loved the analogy cuz I have a visual mind so that made sense to me. It is so good to recognize how much our Father in Heaven loves us and how much He wants to help us, we just have to ask Him. Our lives get carried away and the storms (or trials) of life take over. It is really hard to steer through life without the helm, or the gospel in our life. I just thought that was really cool.
When did you feel the spirit the strongest? Yesterday during what we call an STM (specialized Training Meeting)… see last question for more details :} hehe
What made you LOL? We went to go and visit a less-active (sis Prokos) the other day and she was sick so we went back to our bikes and then the mailman asked what we were selling. So we talked to him for a little bit and then our less-active’s neighbor Debora (who looks like the female version of Jack Sparrow) came out to talk to us and asked us to come over and talk with her for a little bit. So we went over and started talking to her and she pretty much confessed her entire life to us… awkwardness! When she was done talking, we tried to tie in some gospel topics but she said she wasn’t interested in being taught. So we said our goodbyes and walked away. And we were riding our bikes away; sis Garner and I just looked at each other and just busted up laughing haha.
Have you had any flat bike tires? Do you know how to change one? I do know how to change one, our elders informed us how to. And luckily (knock on wood) neither of us have had a flat tire :}
Have you had any crazy food yet? Nope :} so glad too haha
When did you feel the most loved and can you feel our hugs and prayers from here? I can feel your hugs and prayers, which I am so grateful for ;} I am in much need of those hugs and prayers. I felt the most love yesterday at a Specialized Training Meeting that our Zone Leaders did. They talked about our Identity and our Destiny as children of God. It was a much needed training and an answer to many of my prayers. I know that my Father in Heaven loves each and everyone of us and knows us personally. I am so grateful for that knowledge :}
Love you all! keep up your hard work and the Lord will bless you for it :}
Love Sister Meagan
