Mama B;
How are things going with Jared and his daughter?  Has he quit smoking?   He had not quite smoking and he dropped us last Tuesday and then again this last Thursday. We pretty much have dropped all of our investigators and we are staring anew in this area. It is very stressful.
How is all the bike riding going?  Are the roads clear still and do you feel safe? It has actually been pretty warm here. The weather has been in the high 50’s for the past week so that is really nice :} but every one keeps saying that it’s gonna get colder soon haha. But the roads are clear :}
How do you schedule your appointments based on time to bike there?  Do you plan a route? We usually try to stay in one geographical area a day so we can see less-actives, find potential investigators and build relationships with members in those areas as well. So then we don’t use all of our energy biking all around town haha ;}
So the question is... how have the little things you have done, made a difference in your life? I guess when I focus on the little things, the basics, those help me to grow. I mean, you can play a Bach Piano piece without learning how to read music and practice the basic stuff. Church, Pray, Read: those are the things that I have been working on, the basics. Without those 3 things, you spirit cannot survive. CPR- church pray read :}
What have you learned in your studies this week?  I have been reading Jesus the Christ, along with the New Testament. (I am in Luke 9 right now). I have really been focusing on my Savior and really getting to know him more. I mean, how can you truly be friends with someone if you don’t really know them? He knows all about us, we should learn all we can about him. So I have been focusing on learning who my Elder Brother is, who the Son of God is, and who my Savior is :}
The best thing about your week with Sis Garner was....? So we did a church swap with one of our new investigators and her family, (that just means that we go to there church and then they come to ours) and the church was called the Impact Center. It was like a rock concert but with gospel music haha and we got shout outs during their prayers so that was nice of them :} OH and also they we teaching about Acts 2:1-5 about the spirit helping the apostles speak in tongues, and they focused on how the only way that the Holy Spirit is inside you is when you start speaking tongues. So after the lesson they asked everyone to come up and feel the Holy Spirit inside them and they started speaking in tongues… ish… it was more like weird babble. (ex: Shig a dig a dig a dig a dig a dig! Shala a has bash! Shig a dig a dig a dig a dig a dig!) so funny! Then when we were leaving, one of the pastors started to pray and said something along the lines of “please bless the visitors to feel the true spirit from the one true God” it was so awkward.
My favorite teaching moment was....? So we went to go and teach Alexus, our investigator who we did the church swap with, her parents were in the lesson and had all of these crazy questions. BUT lucky for us, the spirit prompted us to ask this member named sister Alder to come with us. So we didn’t know this but sis Alder was a less-active a few years ago and before getting married, asked her husband all of these crazy questions and has been researching stuff about the church ever since. She is so solid and was able to answer some of the obscene questions that Alexus’ parents could think of. It was really cool to learn all of this new stuff while our investigators were also learning new stuff :}
I laughed so hard when...... I got the text from Elder bueno after the Impact Center:  Shig a dig a dig a dig a dig a dig! Shala a has bash! Shig a dig a dig a dig a dig a dig! Elder Bueno has been saved!! Amen Halelujah!
What a great group of missionaries I serve with!

The church is true!
love Me
