How is the weather? we have heard about a lot of rain and flooding and I'm just checking to see that you are safe! I am safe ;} the weather has been crazy and cold but if you stay inside, you are safe haha :} ya... it was finally sunny today... for about 2 hrs....it is supposed to rain for the next 8 days... so hopefully the roads can handle it haha
have you had to help with a lot of cleanup? rain or tornado? and at least curly hair works in the rain, right! awe thanks mama ;} and we have helped a lot with clean ups with mostly tornadoes but most of the roads in Noble are out so it is really hard to go and visit people when there are no roads to drive on haha
so how was your week? This week was pretty crazy! Sis duersch and I had meetings Monday night, most of Tuesday, and all of Wednesday… so we didn’t get to do a lot of missionary work until Thursday haha but other than that it was fabulous! Thank you mama for the hug that sister Jackson gave me:} it was much needed
After the last transfer are the sisters in your zone getting along better? were there any changes there? Most of the sisters in our zone were changed, so no real drama yet. And we would like to keep it that way haha
Do you still meet with the Borchers’ family or has that moved on to home and visiting teachers and ward mission leaders? We still meet with them every Monday and Thursday night ;} we are trying to get them some visiting and home teachers but we will continue to visit them because we have to teach/review all of the missionary lessons again
Who are you working with now that needs our prayers? We are still working with Paula and Joseph, and also Stephanie and her mama Rosetta Duren, but we have some new investigators as well: Caitlin Duren, Chad Jackson (sis jackson’s hubby) and Chads oldest son Dylan ;} we taught all of them the restoration this past Sunday and they all loved it! Especially Dylan and Caitlin :] it was so good!!
What was the most wonderful thing that happened this week? Teaching the restoration :} I love teaching and I love watching the light bulb go off in someone’s eyes as the spirit touches them and
do you every have to fix dinner at home or are you always fed by members? Sometimes we fix dinner at home but usually members feed us. And like this week church was canceled do to flooding and the Red Cross was using our building for there base so people who were out of their home because of flooding had a place to go ;} so our dinner calendar didn’t get passed around. So, I was put in charge of asking members of the ward if they would feed us. Our ward is so nice and helpful that the 1st 7 people I asked were ready and willing to feed us :} they are awesome here!
What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Um… either cereal or bagel with cream cheese :}
do you ever get to ride your bike in this area? We can if we want to or need to, but sis duersch doesn’t really like to so we don’t. But if we were running low on miles then yes we would bike more ;}
it sounds like your spirits are still high! keep it up and we will, of course, keep praying for you and your whole mission! be safe awe thanks mama ;} you really are the BEST! gotta go!
